چکیده
Let f n (; !) be a sequence of stochastic processes which converge weakly to a limit process f 0 (; !). We show under some assumptions the weak inclusion of the solution sets n (!) = f : f n (; !) = 0g in the limiting solution set 0 (!) = f : f 0 (; !) = 0g. If the limiting solutions are a.s. singletons, then weak convergence holds. Results of his type are called Z-theorems (Zero-theorems). Moreover, we give various more speciic convergence results, which have applications for stochastic equations, statistical estimation and stochastic optimization.

Karlin’s Basic Composition Theorems and Stochastic Orderings
Suppose λ,x,ζ traverse the ordered sets Λ, X and Z, respectively and consider the functions f(λ,x,ζ) and g(λ,ζ) satisfying the following conditions, (a) f(λ,x,ζ) > 0 and f is TP2 in each pairs of variables when the third variable is held fixed and (b) g(λ,ζ) is TP2. Then the function h(λ,x) =∫Z f(λ,x,ζ)g(λ,ζ)dµ(ζ), defined on Λ×X is TP2 in (λ,x). The aim of this note is to use a new stochast...
متن کاملFunctional limits of zeta type processes
The Riemann zeta process is a stochastic process {Z(σ), σ > 1} with independent increments and marginal distributions whose characteristic functions are proportional to the Riemann zeta function along vertical lines < s = σ . We establish functional limit theorems for the zeta process and other related processes as arguments σ approach the pole at s = 1 of the zeta function (from above).
متن کاملNon–commutative (quantum) Probability, Master Fields and Stochastic Bosonization
In this report we discuss some results of non–commutative (quantum) probability theory relating the various notions of statistical independence and the associated quantum central limit theorems to different aspects of mathematics and physics including: q–deformed and free central limit theorems; the description of the master (i.e. central limit) field in matrix models along the recent Singer su...
متن کاملBasic models and questions in statistical network analysis
Extracting information from large graphs has become an important statistical problem since network data is now common in various fields. In this minicourse we will investigate the most natural statistical questions for three canonical probabilistic models of networks: (i) community detection in the stochastic block model, (ii) finding the embedding of a random geometric graph, and (iii) finding...
متن کاملThe Reflection Map with Discontinuities
We study the multi-dimensional re ection map on the spaces D([0; T ];Rk ) and D([0;1);Rk ) of right-continuous Rk -valued functions on [0; T ] or [0;1) with left limits, endowed with variants of the Skorohod(1956) M1 topology. The re ection map was used with the continuous mapping theorem by Harrison and Reiman (1981) and Reiman (1984) to establish heavy-tra c limit theorems with re ected Brown...
